JOB SUMMARY:

Continuously exemplifies the Satcom Direct (SD) mission, values and customer service philosophy connected with job performance and cooperative team interactions. Develops, plans, and coordinates company-wide sales strategies, selling into the Business Aviation market to maximize customer responsiveness, to meet business objectives and achieve maximum results for all sectors. Ensure optimum sales, service and support process to achieve goals and objectives. Works closely with the Customer Support to ensure front-end processes are closely aligned and consistent across the business for identification, pursuit, close and execution for outstanding customer experience. Drives customer relationship management processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and should demonstrate the following competencies to consistently perform the essential functions of this position. All employees are expected to adhere to and be knowledgeable of Satcom Direct (SD) operations standards, established security/safety rules and requirements for attendance. The requirements listed below are representative of the fundamental knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform the job successfully:

· Conducts sales calls, prepare/perform product delivery presentations, support, and other sales and marketing functions as needed. Coordinates with all internal departments.

· Establishes, maintains, and develops business relationships with current and potential customers to optimize customer base profit.

· Responds promptly to inquiries, expediting resolution of customer problems/complaints, providing proposals or options for service and/or sales required to meet customers’ needs.

· Maintains the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.

· Attends industry trade shows, sales meetings, marketing workshops and other special events as required. Hosts and coordinates customer visits.

· Keeps abreast of products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends.

· Contributes to the development of strategic business plans and marketing initiatives, preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, quotes and other projections.

· Carries out special projects as assigned.

· Travel required

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:

· Aviation Industry experience.

· Spanish and English is required.

· Sales experience in LATAM for minimum 3 years

· Familiarity and/or experience with satellite communications, aircraft avionics, and aviation communications.

· Initiative, dependability, cooperation, and thoroughness in a team environment.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Self-motivated and ability to work independently.

· Detail, oriented, organized, and ability to multitask.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft and CRM.

· Successful candidates must successfully complete a background check, credit history check, and drug test.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

· Degree in a related discipline and/or Aviation-related certification.

· 3+ years of aviation experience or an equivalent combination of education and sales experience.

· Ability to work independently and be flexible in a rapidly changing environment.

· U.S. Citizenship required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing general office duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and/or walk around (including the use of stairs). Other demands include the ability to openly communicate with others by talking, listening and reading, able to lift light objects (<25lbs), and use standard office equipment such as computer, printer, phone and cell phone. In addition, there is an occasional need to bend, twist or stoop in order to open/close cabinets, reach for files or other standard office type objects. This role requires on-call duties of one (1) week at a time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The office environment is generally quiet and, in a temperature, controlled setting with random adjustments in noise or temperature due to others talking or laughing loudly, unscheduled maintenance repairs to the building or its interior offices or unpredictable situations due to weather or other acts beyond company control. An employee must be willing to work their regularly assigned work schedule for their particular duties and/or job responsibilities and in times of need, be able to work an extended schedule depending on company/department needs, project requirements or customer demands. Some overnight travel is required to facilitate work objectives. While at client site locations, if applicable, employee will be required to adhere to the proper safety precautions established by the client while in proximity to their work area, flight-line or maintenance repair center; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment. The temperature at client locations can vary from controlled to variations off hot/cold when working, standing or walking in or near the flight-line or maintenance repair center.
